Join Hazel for a Wild Church gathering on the second Sunday of each month.

We will begin with a grounding meditation to center ourselves and become present in the moment. In each gathering, we may share brief readings and reflections from various spiritual and ecological traditions, engage in a nature-connected invitation,  and always share in kinship to support one another on our individual and collective journeys toward loving ourselves, one another and the Earth more deeply.

Whether you join while outside or inside, be sure to bring or be with a nature being with whom you can share this sacred time. Feel free to bring a cup of your favorite beverage and light a candle if it is safe for you to do so.

    Everyone, everyone, everyone is welcome!

Roxanne will lead us in earth-oriented songs and chants via Zoom with the hope of having guest song-leaders teach songs they and their communities love as well!

Everyone is invited! Zoom has the advantage that we can meet people and source songs from all over and that you can belt out songs, try harmonies or just listen as you please. Come for inspiration, fellowship and expression, through song, of your connection to the natural world.

    Meet Roxanne Schueller:
Since 2011, Roxanne has been the celebrant for lifecycle events and weekly Interfaith Services at the Brookmont Church in Bethesda, Maryland. These services always include meditation and singing and are often themed around the rhythms of the natural world.

Roxanne has studied with Heather Houston for the past two years, completing the Song Leader Training in June of 2022. She is currently enrolled in the certificate program of Creation Spirituality Communities and she has taken the Wild Church Leadership Course.

Giving the soul expression through the creative arts and helping others come home to the natural world, are her devotional, joyful paths of service.
